Capacity technical assistance - nnedv's strength is its netw
Capacity technical assistance - nnedv's strength is its network of the 56 u.S. State and territorial domestic violence coalitions. Nnedv provides comprehensive, specialized consultation, assistance, and training to coalitions, family violence prevention & services act (fvpsa) state administrators, and local programs to best address survivors' needs. Supporting our 56 state and territorial coalitions through covid-19 was our top priority during 2021. Throughout the year, the capacity technical assistance team (cta) convened remote learning opportunities, webinars, and peer-to-peer meetings for state and territorial coalitions to ensure that they had the support, resources and information needed to navigate through the challenges that faced them throughout the pandemic. With new federal funding from the american recovery act, and subsequent funding streams such as the covid testing and mitigation, the cta team provided technical assistance to the coalitions and fvpsa state administrators to help them navigate through the regulations, eligible activities, application processes and other details. The cta team convened coalition covid calls, regional (virtual) meetings for coalition leadership, and peer affinity groups for advocates of color, associate directors, fiscal staff, advocates working with children/youth, and communications/PR staff. The cta team organized nnedv's leadership summit, managed the online resource library, and presented at several national or statewide events.
