Safe bar collective advocacy: motivated by the impact of patriarchal and state violence in nightlife spaces. Cass created the safe bar collective (SBC) to train the staff and management with the tools they need to cultivate safer environments for their own employees and for their customers. Through these trainings, cass teaches and practices concrete invervention and de-escalation tactics that employees can use when they witness harassement or microasgressions in their establishments.

Part 1: to eliminate public gender harassment in DC - part 3: collective action for safe spaces (cass) is a black, trans, queer, and non-binary-lead organization that uses public education, cultural, organizing, coalition-building, and advocacy to build community safety. Cass cultivates the greater DC community's capacity to respond directly to patriarchal and state violence through transformative justice and abolitionist frameworks.
