Legal & government affairs: outserve-sldn continued joined forces with other lgbt advocates to successfully sue for transgender service rights. Outserve-sldn continued providing free legal counseling to service members with legal issues stemming from discrimination on one's perceived or actual sexual orientation or gender identity including HIV positive and transgender service cases. We managed over 400 legal cases in 2018. In addition, outserve-sldn continued providing assistance to veterans seeking to upgrade or correct their discharge paperwork.
