Annual yard sale (sept.) raises $30,000 for various social ministry organizations. beneficiaries are selected in june. in 2011, organizations supported were: transitional housing corp. lss, samaritan ministry of greater washington, the frannie foundation, elca strategy on HIV/aids, the guatemala tomorrow fund, rwanada school project.
