Brought together hundreds of lgbt military families and allies from across the country and around the world at an event in washington, DC designed to honor and celebrate our modern military families for their service and sacrfice to our nation.

Worked to reach and support lgbt military families through social media campaigns, pride events, and other outreach events. Worked to raise visibility and awareness of the unique needs and challenges of lgbt families through events, blog posts, and social media campaigns. Worked for inclusion of lgbt military families in annual surveys in order to gather important data on the unique challenges our members face.

In continuing our mission of education, advocacy, and support for lgbt military spouses the ampa military spouse scholarship has been created. The first scholarship was awarded in 2017.
