Maryland, cradle of hope adoption center, inc. - cradle of hope adoption center (chac) is a non-profit adoption agency founded in 1990 by adoptive parents. chac has placed more than 3200 children from russia, ukraine, uzbekistan, romania, china, and latin America. we provide international services for children in need of permanent loving families as well as provide humanitarian assistance to the orphanages which care for them. - facilitates adoption of children from russia, ukraine, uzbekistan, and china into adoptive homes. travel to the child\\'s home country is required. ages of children vary from 6 months to 13 years. also provides homestudy and post-placement services.
